Last evening was day 2 of my personal Nerium Skin Care trial period. This trial will be conducted during the first 30 days of new usage by me and through this blog I will be providing feedback on the product along the way and finally disclosing my before and after photos. I promise I will not bore you but will inform you as I go along.
I also can honestly say I am not looking forward to disclosing my before photo with no make up on but if it is for the greater good then I will do it!
Initially when we were reviewing this product and learning more about the company Nerium AD International we came across only a couple of not so positive comments on the product out of many very positive ones.
One of the comments was around Nerium Skin Care Product having an odor to it. I spoke to this in my first blog and would recommend you read the article archived within this site for more information. However I did want to add another mention about the odor in this post because I believe the slight earthy scent to the product makes sense number one due to its origin, but also makes it an even more appealing age defying nightly skin cream for both men and women. It is a unisex odor versus a feminine one.
Another not so positive comment we found through internet searches was about how the Nerium Skin Care Product felt on your face after you applied the cream. One person posted it felt like they had a facial mask on or something to that nature. After day 2 of applying the Nerium Skin Care night cream on my face on I do have an observation to make on this and reserve the right to revisit this as I continue on this journey.
I believe it is possible for someone to feel like a slight facial mask has been applied to their face after using the night cream, however I also believe it has to do more with how they are applying the cream and less about the product itself. In other words the direction will tell you to have a damp face so that is relevant and you should apply the skin care product to a damp face.
If you dampen your face and use the amounts mentioned on the bottle and do not over due it, you will most likely not experience the feeling of having a facial mask on after application. You may however feel a little excited to wake up the next morning to see if you can see a difference in your appearance.
